Last week Production Weekly had reported that Hammer Films and Overture Films’ remake of Let the Right One In was to be renamed as “Let Me In” and was slated to begin shooting this May in Canada. We checked in with Overture who tells us that not only is the script still being worked out, but the film (as of right now) is in fact still named Let the Right One In. No shooting has been slated as the idea of filming a winter film in the summer makes absolutely no sense. More on this soon. Matt Reeves (Cloverfield) is directing the remake that follows Oskar, an overlooked and bullied boy, finds love and revenge through Eli, a beautiful but peculiar girl who turns out to be a vampire.
