Nearly two years ago (or has it been longer?), Bloody-Disgusting’s BC was lucky enough to catch a test screening of Warner Bros. Pictures’ Where the Wild Things Are, which he says was not for kids and downright creepy. At that moment I decided to cover the pic here on the site… but the question still remains as to what type of film the final product will be. After tons of reshoots and retooling, it’s quite possible this adaptation could become a crappy kids film. Until we get more info, check out this super sweet one sheet for Spike Jonze’s pic slated for release on October 16 (hopefully it sticks this time).
