Why Oregon Was Chosen for the Shoot
Comingsoon reports that DreamWorks’ The Ring 2 will be filmed in Astoria, Oregon this May. Oregon news channel KATU 2 says that the location for the sequel, starring Naomi Watts, was chosen because it captured the mood of the psychological thriller. Director Hideo Nakata helms the follow-up which the studio has targeted for a November 10 release date. Will Daveigh Chase return as Samara?
