‘Kingdom Hospital’ Needs a Transfusion

Variety reports that ABC has prescribed a schedule change for the Stephen King-penned series Kingdom Hosptial-an operation it doesn’t look likely to survive. After this week, the show will move from Wednesdays at 10 p.m. to Thursdays at 9 p.m. beginning April 1, which puts it up against two of TV’s highest-rated programs: CBS’s CSI and NBC’s THE APPRENTICE. After a strong start, KINGDOM has been consistently losing viewers; after this no-win switch, don’t be surprised if ABC pulls the plug on the series before it finishes its 15-episode story arc.” – Fangoria
