I have been reading the current stories of Halloween and I’m excited to see this new one in February.
More about the upcoming story from the press release:
‘Halloween: The Mark of Thorn’ is an all-new tale that takes a fresh look at the Halloween franchise through the eyes of one of the original film’s survivors, Tommy Doyle.
Many years have passed, and now Tommy Doyle is a happily married comic book writer and artist living in Salt Lake City. He’s persuaded by his editor to write a fictionalised version of the events that happened to him – a story that will attempt to make sense of the madness that happened when serial killer Michael Myers butchered his way through the small town of Haddonfield all those years ago.
As Tommy’s story begins, he starts to bring to life monsters from the past and secrets that should have remained buried – the worlds of fact and fiction blur, leading to an inevitable confrontation with his biggest fear of all, Michael Myers!
The story will be scripted by the team of regular series writer, Stefan Hutchinson, and fan-favourite Jeff Katz (‘Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash’ / ‘Booster Gold’). It will begin a month after the current series finishes and artists will be announced shortly.
