Horror Vet Joel Soisson Has Taken on ‘Condition Dead 3D’

Published

on

We learned of some pretty incredible news this weekend as Joel Soisson’s Neo Art & Logic will produce Condition Dead 3D, the epic-zombie actioner that will be helmed by Patrick Lussier (My Bloody Valentine 3D) from a screenplay by Dave Davis. You can read all about the project inside.
Moviehole.net‘s Clint Morris (“Complacent”) will produce Condition Dead with Soisson.

Soisson is a veteran producer whose past hits include Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Trick or Treat (the kick ass 80’s film), The Prophecy and Pulse. He previously worked with Lussier on the Dracula films released by Dimension.

Condition Dead 3D – of which a comic spin-off is also in the works – tells of a government-subsidised Zombie-hunting team, led by the indominatble Luther Judge, who find themselves with dual enemies – the dead, and one of their own. The film is apparently more akin to James Cameron’s “Aliens” than a Romero film. This will be the second 3D film for Lussier after this year’s “My Bloody Valentine 3D”.

We’re told the project is “moving along confidently” and that there’ll be ”more news soon.”

Morris and Davis are said to also be working on a horror/western project”.
