We just got word from our resident ‘American Werewolf’ nut, Paul Davis (writer/director of the upcoming documentary on the Landis classic, BEWARE THE MOON) that a rare chance to see a 35mm print of An American Werewolf in London will be taking place at the Curzon Cinema in London’s Soho district. All of the details can be found beyond the break, get ready to dress up and bark at the moon!
“A tribute to our friend John Landis, who brought us the ‘Thriller’ video, The Blues Brothers, Animal House and this classic gem: ‘AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON’. Filmed around the corner from us too! Enjoy it on the big screen, but join us in our themed ‘Slaughtered Lamb’ bar beforehand for live music and a free drink courtesy of Taboo (whilst stocks last).
We are hoping for a special guest intro (will keep you posted), and we expect you all to adhere to the DRESS CODE: Wolvish, Backpacker or Nurse. You will be rewarded!”
Mr. Tall Paul informs us that he will be in attendance along with other guests to see in the festivities of this rare occasion in the UK For more information on both the event and the upcoming release of AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON on Blu-Ray and the BEWARE THE MOON doc, check out the official Facebook group
