DRIFTER: HENRY LEE LUCAS: Lionsgate

Considered to be one of America’s most notorious serial killers, Henry Lee Lucas admitted to committing over 350 murders with partner and fellow serial killer Ottis Toole while drifting through multiple states in the American South from 1975 until his arrest in 1983.

EARTH DAY: R Squared Films

Earth Day tells the tale of a group of ex eco-crusaders who find themselves being systematically slaughtered as the one year anniversary of the tragic Earth Day death of their leader, Pixie, approaches. Detective Trent Torrance suspects only one man: Hassan, who grew up in the most extreme terrorist sect in all of Pakistan, only to be expelled for going under the Burga and embracing the forbidden art of Women’s hair care. Together with Priscilla, Pixie’s nihilistic twin sister, they strive to prove Hassan’s innocence, while trying to avoid her insanely overprotective plastic surgeon father Dr. Percival Peever, and his plastic surgery casualty of an assistant, Lenora.

HUMANITY’S END: Maverick

In the future humans will become extinct and hybrid races will begin to take over the universe. With the threat of human extinction eminent the last remaining humans must fight to keep their race alive.

METHODIC: Blinky Productions

Demonically possessed by an ominous presence known as The Dollman , a young boy named Nicholas Matthews is forced to obey his darker half, and ultimately murders his parents. Sentenced to life under a microscope at the state mental hospital, Nicholas slowly gains control over the darkness hiding within. But evil cannot be contained so easily. Instead, The Dollman simply bides his time, dwelling inside Nicholas, waiting for the day when he will become powerful enough to compeltely take over his human host. And when that day comes, God help us all . . .

Gateway Horror Classic ‘The Gate’ Returns to Life With Blu-ray SteelBook in May

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones.
