Video Interview: ‘House of the Devil’ Director Ti West and Star Jocelin Donahue

With the Screamfest premiere looming tomorrow (details), and a limited theatrical release beginning on October 30th, we caught up with The House of the Devil writer/director Ti West, along with the beautiful starlet Jocelin Donahue for an exclusive video interview. In the vid below we talk about the process of making a slow-paced thriller, the inspiration of the 80’s and about the improve dance sequence that will enchant the lot of you. Set in the 1980s and based on true, unexplained events, THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL stars the sexy Jocelin Donahue as cash-strapped college student Samantha Hughes, who takes a babysitting job in a remote mansion with her good friend Megan (Greta Gerwig, BAGHEAD). She’s desperate for money and the pay is good, but something feels wrong, and Samantha quickly realizes that the girls are trapped. As a lunar eclipse darkens the night sky, Samantha finds that her employers–cult favorites Tom Noonan (MANHUNTER) and Mary Woronov (ROCK AND ROLL HIGH SCHOOL)–don’t have a baby at all, and have something truly terrifying in store for them.

‘Mind Body Spirit’ Exclusive Trailer – Get Twisted with Found Footage Yoga Horror Movie in May

A yoga influencer discovers just how flexible fear can be in Mind Body Spirit, a new found footage horror movie that Welcome Villain Films is bringing to the table in a couple weeks.

Mind Body Spirit will release on Digital outlets May 7.

As Anya becomes obsessed with the mysterious power of the practice, she unwittingly unleashes an otherworldly entity that begins to take control of her life – and her videos. Now Anya must race to unlock the truth, before her descent into madness threatens to consume her mind, body and spirit. By the time she reveals the true nature of the ritual, will it be too late?”
