Bloody Disgusting learned today that Japanese director Takashi Shimizu (The Grudge franchise, The Shock Labyrinth 3D) will be producing a feature film adaptation of Paranoia Agent. Based on Satoshi Kon’s anime TV series, when a woman is brutally attacked, a community’s fear spawns an epidemic of paranoia that gives birth to its own form of monster. No word on who has been tapped to pen the project.
