‘Carriers’ Directors Penning ‘Cold Skin’ Adaptation

We were contacted by Kanzaman who tells us Jesus Olmo wrote the last draft of the script and that David Slade it still attached. Some interesting news from a regular tipster who is telling us that Alex and David Pastor have come on to re-write Cold Skin for Kanazman. The Pastor brothers wrote and directed Carriers for Paramount Vantage, so we’re not exactly sure what the fate of David Slade is, but all signs point to him being off the project (although is not confirmed). Slade, who broke on the scene with Hard Candy and 30 Days of Night, is currently working on The Twilight Saga: Eclipse for Summit. Watch for an update as soon as we have it.
On the edge of the Antarctic Circle, a steamship approaches a desolate island. On board is a young man, poised to take the post of weather observer, to live in solitude at the end of the earth. But on shore he finds no trace of the man whom he has been sent to replace, just a deranged castaway who has witnessed a horror he refuses to name. For the next twelve months his entire world will consist of a deserted cabin, trees, rocks, silence and the surrounding sea. Then night begins to fall…
