Here’s another serial killer thriller going into production that’s again vague about its tone. Hyde Park Entertainment and Parkes/MacDonald Prods. are teaming on Killer, snapping up Kenny Golde’s spec preemptively and launching development — with both banners using coin from Abu Dhabi’s Imagenation. The story centers on a rogue police investigator who discovers a video left by a killer, triggering a cat-and-mouse game, with the investigator several steps behind his prey. That’s about as generic as it comes.
