‘Zodiac’ Writer’s ‘Murder Mystery’ Finds Its Director

After Disney put the project into turnaround, Tower Hill Entertainment has snatched up the rights to James Vanderbilt’s (Zodiac) latest thriller, Murder Mystery, which will be “pure entertainment…exciting, suspenseful and romantic,” so says Tower Hill’s prexy of production A.J. Dix. Kevin Macdonald is set to direct the whodunit that revolves around an American couple honeymooning in Europe who are implicated when they witness a murder and wind up embroiled in interna-tional intrigue. Dix said Murder Mystery will be shot on location across Europe, and that the film is now casting.
