Planets Collide in Lars von Trier’s Apocalypse ‘Melancholia’

By now most of you have seen Lars von Trier’s shocker Antichrist, a thriller that’s quite small in scale. It’s been announced that the Danish director will be taking on the apocalypse with Melancholia, although details were extremely slim. While the “end of the world” thriller is locking down financing as we speak, various rumblings have suggested that the this so-called apocalypse will be caused by Earth colliding with another planet!
