Ellen Page and Cillian Murphy Featured in ‘Peacock’ Clip
Starring Ellen Page and Cillian Murphy, it’s kind of telling that Michael Lander’s Peacock is getting dumped to DVD on April 20 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Collecting dust for quite some time now, I’m not expecting much of this thriller, which looks incredibly bland. Just check out the new clip below. The title is derived from tiny Peacock, Neb., where Murphy’s character, a split personality, fools the town into believing his two alter egos are man and wife. Page plays a struggling young mother who holds the key to his past and sparks a battle between the personalities.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones. Instead, they unearth The Gate — an underground chamber of terrifying demonic evil. The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences. With fiendish followers invading suburbia, it’s now up to the kids to discover the secret that can lock The Gate forever . . . if it’s not too late.
If you’ve never seen The Gate, it’s now streaming on Prime Video and Tubi.
