‘Rites of Spring’ Becomes a Creature Feature

Two years after being announced here on Bloody Disgusting, Padraig Reynolds is finally filming his creature-feature, Rites of Spring, which is about what happens when a father, intent on avenging his murdered son, crosses paths with a serial killer targeting teens. According to the Mississippi “McHerald”, the film now will have a creature, which was created by character designer Aaron Sims (Clash of the Titans, I Am Legend, The Hills Have Eyes 2)! Principal photography begins in the Canton area on April 12 with hopes of getting this sucker into theaters by March 22, 2011, which coincides with the start of spring.
