Image Entertainment Brings Giallo-like Mustery ‘Finale’ to DVD
Some believe in a nightmarish world of darkness and paranoia – full of specters and ghosts. On May 25, Image Entertainment presents Finale, a story of one family’s descent into that demonic landscape. A film festival favorite, Finale is director John Michael Elfer’s homage to the lush and bloody style of Giallo masters such as Mario Bava and Dario Argento. The film will be available on DVD for $27.98.
Helen Michaels (Caroline Hauck, Vixen Highway) is consumed with despair after the suicide of her son. Although officially judged a suicide, she believes there are darker forces at work. But her desire to solve the mystery soon develops into a mania that threatens to ruin the life of her daughter, Kate (Suthi Picotte, 11 Minutes Ago) as well as her own. Has she become trapped by the same powers that destroyed her son?
Helen is desperate when she realizes that the same demons that threaten her family are the ones that drove her son to suicide. She knows she must enter his dark world and confront her dangerous feelings – in order to face the Finale that waits for her.

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones.
