HOLLYWOOD — Morgan Creek Prods. has tapped Jon Glascoe to pen horror thriller “The In-Between.”
Story follows a high school girl haunted by the ghost of her recently deceased boyfriend, who wants her to join him in the afterlife.
Project will be produced by Morgan Creek with topper James G. Robinson serving as producer. Universal will distribute domestically; U and Morgan Creek Intl. will distribute internationally.
Morgan Creek VP of development Beth Babyak and creative exec Andy Bohn will oversee the project.
Glascoe recently sold his original screenplay “Premonition” to Bedford Falls for producer Marshall Herskovitz. He was a writer-producer-director for Cypress Films, where he worked on “Julian Po,” romantic comedy “Cherry,” police drama “Evenhand” and the sci-fi telefilm “Harrison Bergeron.”
Warner will release Morgan Creek’s horror-thriller “Exorcist: The Beginning” on Aug. 20.
