Random Bizarre: Banned ‘Alien’ Toy, 99 Works of Art Inspired by ‘Twilight Zone’

Back in 1979 Kenner released an 18-inch Alien replica action figure based on Ridley Scott’s terrifying sci-fi horror film. After hitting the market in November of ’79, parents were outraged the toy was pulled from shelves. Remembering the occasion, below you’ll find a TV commercial for the toy that aired in the Chicago market. Sweet. In other random bizarre news, San Fransisco gallery 1988 has launched a show featuring 99 pieces of art inspired by the classic black and white “The Twilight Zone” TV series. Get a taste below.

Head over to Gallery 1988 to look at, and maybe even purchase one of 99 works of art inspired by “The Twilight Zone”.
