The REAL Beyond Red Band Trailer for ‘2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams’
So you thought you saw the “Beyond Red Band” trailer for 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams, Tim Sullivan’s sequel arriving on DVD July 20 from First Look Studios, but the funny thing is… you didn’t. Apparently, the wrong file was sent out that displayed a rough cut of the beyond red band trailer, along with a clip that you weren’t supposed to see featuring star Lin Shaye (if missed out, watch it now). Things have been corrected and now we’re proud to present you with the REAL “Beyond Red Band Trailer” that’s surely NSFW!
“Starring Bill Moseley as the new Mayor Buckman, after the sheriff refuses to cover up any further for the maniacs causing all the missing persons in the area, they’re forced to hit the road in what’s dubbed the “Pleasant Valley Traveling Road Show,” where the maniacs head across country in hopes of gathering more victims. We’ll follow a young TV crew called the “Road Rascals” as they find themselves mixed up with another one of the maniacs’ deadly festivals.”

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones. Instead, they unearth The Gate — an underground chamber of terrifying demonic evil. The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences. With fiendish followers invading suburbia, it’s now up to the kids to discover the secret that can lock The Gate forever . . . if it’s not too late.
If you’ve never seen The Gate, it’s now streaming on Prime Video and Tubi.
