‘Altitude’ Writer Takes to the Skies Again With ‘Night Wings’

Casting is officially underway for Dusan Strugar’s Night Wings, a new supernatural thriller aimed at “tweens” and being shot in 3-D. Paul A. Birkett, who penned the made-for-TV movie Hellhounds and Anchor Bay’s forthcoming Altitude, wrote the screenplay that begins on a redeye flight over the Atlantic, a twelve-year-old boy tries to convince the crew that a vampire is among them, but no one believes him. Shooting begins this October in New Orleans.
