TV: Two More Become ‘The Walking Dead’

The casting news is pouring in as Linds Edwards (Seed) and Jim Coleman (American Gangster) are heading to Atlanta to join The Walking Dead, AMC TV’s live-action adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s comic series that begins with the pilot episode directed by Frank Darabont, reports the Walking Dead Podcast. Edwards is playing “Leon Basset” while Coleman will be playing a new character, “Lambert (Lam) Kendel.” They join the previously announced Jon Bernthal, Andrew Lincoln, Jeffrey DeMunn, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, Steven Yeun, Michael Rooker, and Chandler Riggs in the project set among a group of zombie survivors of an apocalypse who are led by a police officer, Rick Grimes, in search of a safe place to live. An October premiere is planned.
