Imogen Poots to Get Nasty in ‘Fright Night’ Remake

Another little piece of Intel hit our in-box this afternoon as we’re being told that Imogen Poots (yeah, crazy name) is in final talks to star as “Amy”, a popular high school senior who “needs to get nasty” by the finale, in DreamWorks’ 3-D Fright Night. She’ll join Colin Farrell, Anton Yelchin, Toni Collette, David Tennant, Christopher Mintz-Plasse in the Craig Gillespie’s directed redo filming in New Mexico next month. Poots starred in V for Vendetta, 28 Weeks Later and Neil Marshall’s forthcoming Centurion. The original Fright Night, written and directed by Tom Holland in 1985, was a horror comedy about a teenager who discovers that his neighbors are vampires.
