It’s official. In case still had lingering worries that BioShock Infinite wouldn’t be coming this year you can go right ahead and massage those worries away. It was revealed earlier today the game will indeed be coming in 2012, and more specifically, on October 16, in North America. ““After BioShock, we had a vision for a follow up that dwarfed the original in scope and ambition,” said Ken Levine, creative director at Irrational Games. If the latest trailer is anything to go by, Infinite looks to be taking everything to a whole new level.
Irrational Games has been toiling away on BioShock Infinite for four years now, and with the game’s impressive showing so far, I think it could be as unforgettable an experience as the original was half a decade ago.
