Alternate Opening and Ending on ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ Blu-ray
Warner Home Video has announced DVD ($28.98) and Blu-ray/DVD Combo ($35.99) releases of A Nightmare on Elm Street for October 5th. DVD Active reports that as far they know, the only extra material on the DVD release will be a Freddy Krueger Reborn featurette. The Blu-ray release will include that, along with a Maniacle Movie Mode, an Alternate Opening, an Alternate Ending, a Deleted Scene, and a digital copy of the film. The official package artwork is below.

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!
The new release will feature fresh SteelBook artwork from Vance Kelly, seen below.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones.
