Although no details were revealed, the LA Times is reporting that the Wesintein Company is in talks with a writer Fernley Phillips, best known for scripting Jim Carrey’s horrid The Number 23, to give a modern spin to An American Werewolf in London. Our own sources tell us that Bob and Harvey Weinstein are really looking to depart from John Landis’ 1981 horror comedy that told the story of two American tourists in England who are attacked by a werewolf that none of the locals will admit exists. This begs a single question: why?
