Bloody Disgusting learned today that Twentieth Century Fox has picked up Max Landis’ Chronicle, a screenplay described as Unbreakable meets Cloverfield. Josh Trank is attached to direct. The story tells a video account of what befalls three Oregon high school students after their lives are changed forever by a mysterious incident in the outskirts of town. Max is the son of horror legend John Landis and penned the “Masters of Horror” episode “Deer Woman”, along with the ‘Fear Itself” episode “Something with Bite.”
