We Are NOT Sending Viruses- Educate Yourselves!
Hello fellow ghouls- I just got back from the Comic Con in San Diego and the first priority on my agenda is to inform all of you about the ‘so-called’ viruses floating around the web. The main reason for this post is because I’m receiving a ridiculous amount of emails from people who think that we are sending out viruses. If that’s true, then so are our buddies at Dark Horizons, Comingsoon, JoBlo and so on… These viruses are NOT being sent by us- this is what the virus does. In lamenys terms, this virus or worm or trojan (whatever the hell it is) gets on someones computer and going through their email lists and emails on their computer. Then it uses this host computer to send out fake emails from their computer but they forge it with the names on the email lists. Soooo, if lets say [email protected] is on my email list and I get this bug, it will send everyone on my list an email from that email address to everyone else on the list and so forth. It’s a lot more complex than that- but from what I understand that’s how it works. So NO- WE ARE NOT SENDING YOU FREAKING VIRUSES! Have a nice day:D
