Lions Gate Saving the Day Once Again!
Lions Gate Films likes to play Superman- helping save tons of great films from collecting dust on the shelf. Fangoria reports that Lions Gate Entertainment has acquired Tobe Hooper’s Toolbox Murders (review) for U.S. video, with a fall 2005 release tentatively planned. “They really like the film,” co-screenwriter Adam Gierasch tells Fango, “so much so that they are toying with the idea of a theatrical release, probably midnights.”
