Bloody Disgusting was exclusively tipped off that Relativity Media is finally moving forward on the long-delayed The Strangers: Part 2, the sequel to Bryan Bertino’s widely popular home invasion film that starred Liv Tyler as she attempted to survive an attack by a trio of masked killers.
We’re told that Laurent Briet will be getting behind the camera as early as this April, with a location and cast still to be determined. We’re working on a full confirmation as we speak. There have been a slew of false starts over the past 2 years.
A reflection of the horrible economy, the sequel follows the three mysterious figures (Man in the Mask, Pin-Up Girl, and Dollface) as they now stalk a family of four that is forced to live in an abandoned trailer after being evicted from their home.
