Twentieth Century Fox is working like lightning in casting Timur Bekmambetov’s Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter 3D. Benjamin Walker landed the lead, assuming the role of the 16th President who hunts vampires, while Anthony Mackie and Dominic Cooper were also cast.

Our friends over at Latino Review have one more for the period piece: Robin McLeavy (the psycho-chick in the Aussie horror The Loved Ones) will star as Mary Todd, Abe Lincoln’s love interest and eventual wife!

Penned by Seth Grahame-Smith, the story revolves around the President’s quest to rid the world of vampires, presented as part of the conflict behind the Civil War. History will be rewritten on June 22, 2012.
