TV: More Pilot Casting for ‘Grimm’

Cool! Bitsie Tulloch (Lonelygirl15) is finally getting some more roles! She’ll be joining Russell Hornsby (Meet the Parents) in the pilot episode of NBC’s “Grimm,” reports Deadline.

The two have said to have landed the lead roles in the dark but fantastical cop drama about a world in which characters inspired by Grimm’s Fairy Tales exist. It centers on Nick Burckhardt (David Giuntoli), a good-looking detective who starts to see humans as beast/animals and discovered that he has a legacy – to protect “humans” from these beasts.

Hornsby will play Nick’s police partner. Tulloch will play Nick’s live-in girlfriend.

Earlier this week “Prison Break” alum and Halloween II star Silas Weir Mitchell was also cast opposite David Giuntoli. He will play Eddie Monroe, a reformed big bad wolf who has tamed his murderous instincts through a strict regimen of diet and Pilates. He starts helping Nick with his cases.
