Shaun of the Dead‘s Rafe Spall has landed a big role in Ridley Scott’s much anticipated sci-fi thriller Prometheus, alongside previous announced Idris Elba (28 Weeks Later, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance), Sean Harris (Isolation, Creep), Kate Dickie (Outcast), Noomi Rapace (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo), Charlize Theron (The Devil’s Advocate) and Michael Fassbender (300, Jonah Hex, Inglourious Basterds), reports the Daily Mail.
Ridley’s movie is about gods and monsters and, contrary to the director’s claim (a smokescreen) that it’s not an Alien prequel, it’s being reported the complete opposite. Back in February is was reported that there’s a DNA connection to the original 1979 Alien creature, and that we’ll be seeing the infamous Space Jockey’s in the “prequel.”
