‘Drive Angry’ Announced for DVD and Blu-ray

Summit Entertainment has announced DVD ($26.99), 2D Blu-ray ($30.49), and 3D Blu-ray ($34.99) releases of Drive Angry for May 31st. DVD Active reports that extras on the DVD will include an audio commentary with filmmakers Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer, deleted scenes with filmmaker commentary, and 2 featurettes (“How To: Drive Angry”, “Milton’s Mayhem”). The Blu-ray releases will include the audio commentary and deleted scenes, plus dynamic “scene specific” features including interviews with cast and filmmakers and more.

In this newest action horror shot in 3D, a vengeful father (Nicolas Cage) hunts down the people who brutally killed his daughter and kidnapped her baby. As the chase gets bloodier by the mile, his rescue spins out of control, leaving bodies strewn along the highway. Amber Heard (Pineapple Express), Billy Burke (The Twilight Saga), William Fichtner (The Dark Knight) and David Morse (Disturbia) also star. Patrick Lussier directs from the original screenplay he co-wrote with Todd Farmer who previously collaborated with him on My Bloody Valentine 3D.
