Lionsgate has been seeing directors over the past couple of months, but half of me always thought there’s no way in hell the studio makes this movie. Alas, I was wrong, and I’m happy about it (except I don’t really understand the need for 3-D)…
Lionsgate has set Doug Aarniokoski to direct The Nurse 3D, a new slasher set to shoot this summer, reports Deadline. The plot: “a smoking hot nurse with emotional baggage tends to the sick by day, but uses her charms to seduce and then murder philandering men.”
Aarniokoski is in post-production on The Day, an indie that stars Shawn Ashmore, Dominic Monaghan and Ashley Bell. He also signed to helm The Black Phantom for Screen Gems after serving as second unit director on Takers and Resident Evil: Extinction.
