Somebody woke the beast. NECA had sort of fallen into McFarlane Toys territory with their rehashing of old licenses, but out of nowhere the toy company has risen from the grave with the great might of the Kraken.
While NECA already unveiled four new Freddy Krueger figures based on the A Nightmare on Elm Street films, at this July’s San Diego Comic-Con get ready for a whole lotta boomstick.
At this summer’s Con, NECA will share with the world their first prototypes of “Ash” from their Evil Dead 2 LINE, with plans on releasing by October of 2011. No word on what “surprises” are included, but we can only dream of getting some deadites in plastic. And sh*t, why not an Ash figure with “both” hands? Totally kidding….
Seriously though, think of the possibilities! Check out some screengrabs inside.
