Gemma Arterton (Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters , Clash of the Titans) and Saoirse Ronan (the lead in the widely popular and successful auctioneer Hanna and The Lovely Bones) have joined the cast of helmer Neil Jordan’s Byzantium, writes Variety.
The project, produced by Stephen Woolley and Elizabeth Karlsen’s London-based Number 9 Films, is based on Tamara Drewe scribe Moira Buffini’s play “A Vampire Story,” about two mysterious women (siblings), one of which claims to be a vampire.
