The Hillside Strangler is Coming to Tartan’s Home
Davis DVD writes, “Tartan Video has announced The Hillside Strangler for DVD release on November 9th. This chilling true story, from the makers of “Ed Gein” and “Ted Bundy,” is based on the notorious and disturbing case of cousins Angelo Buono and Kenneth Bianchi (C. Thomas Howell and Nicholas Turturro) who terrorized Southern California in the late 70s. Available in an R-rated and more gruesome and explicit unrated edition, the DVD will include a 2.35:1 anamorphic transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS Surround tracks, deleted scenes, cast interviews and a theatrical trailer.
