Rumor has it that later this year G4TV will be airing the newest Japanese animated comic adaptation, Blade, the latest anime project from Madhouse that also includes Marvel’s X-Men, Wolverine and Iron Man.
Blade debuts in Japan this July with Animax launching a new website providing a look at the series’ cast of characters, along with the following short video teaser.
Mitsuyuki Masuhara directed from a script by Kenta Fukasuka (Battle Royale).
Comic Alliance also shares with us a few character images and plot details: “Shoddy online translations of the site’s Japanese text make it pretty clear that Blade will be teaming up with a young vampire hunter from Japan, plus Noah Van Helsing (of the Helsings!) and his awesome dog Razor against the evil Deacon Frost and his minions in Asia.”
