“Evil” Ed Highlights New ‘Fright Night’ Images

There’s literally one one reason I want to see Dreamworks’ Fright Night 3D, and that’s to witness Christopher Mintz-Plasse as the new “Evil” Ed Thompson. I’m curious to see what they do with him, and if he’s able to take the role to the same dark place that Stephen Geoffreys did in Tom Holland’s 1985 original.

A slew of new images have been released that feature Mintz-Plasse, Colin Farrell as the neighbor “Jerry” and Anton Yelchin looking like he’s come straight out of the direct-to-disc Lost Boys sequels (cheese ba-bomb!!) Click the still below for the gallery.

In theaters Agust 19, “ Charlie Brewster (Yelchin) is a high school senior who’s on top of the world–that is until Jerry (Farrell) moves in next door and Charlie discovers that he is a vampire preying on the neighborhood.
