Producer Tim Dennison is developing supernatural thriller The Called through his new UK company Tall Man Films, reports Screen Daily.
UK film-maker Niall Johnson will direct and has written the screenplay, “about two men whose experience with a demonized angel in their youth comes back to haunt them.”
Johnson previously wrote another supernatural thriller White Noise.
Dennison, who produced Mutant Chronicles with Ed Pressman in 2008 before going out on his own earlier this year, is currently in talks with financiers, with a view to shooting the film in London and a coastal location in spring 2012.
