Stroh and Hooper have also launched TH Presents, which will license a version of each feature that’s been edited for latenight TV slots. Each film in the THP series will include an introduction by Hooper.

Moves comes as Lions Gate Films recently picked up North American rights to Stroh and Hooper’s first collaboration, “The Toolbox Murders” (review).

THN will produce three to four films a year, with Hooper directing two of the initial films, including the first, “Marked.” Written by “Toolbox Murders” scribes Jace Anderson and Adam Gierasch, pic is the story of an LAPD detective who discovers that Japanese demons are involved in a series of brutal murders. A February start is skedded.

Hooper, who directed the original “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” will oversee THN’s creative direction, with Stroh heading marketing and distribution. Alan Somers and Moonstone’s Yael Stroh will co-produce the titles with Hooper and Etchie Stroh.
