‘American Psycho’ Writer Bret Easton Ellis Demands His Bateman!

Published

on

Here’s a weird piece of news that’s circulating this late Friday afternoon, apparently American Psycho writer Bret Easton Ellis has already put his foot down on who would play the psychotic Patrick Bateman in the forthcoming remake being penned by Noble Jones.

I have warned Lionsgate that I will not approve a new version of ‘American Psycho’ unless it stars Scott Disick or Miles Fisher,” Ellis states on Twitter.

Disick is the scummy douche that appears on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”, and shockingly is a perfect fit for the role. What I don’t like is that Disick would be playing himself, and there’s nothing worse than watch a dick play a dick. Pass.

Fisher, on the other hand, fits the bill as a snarky, sharpshooting swindler with a gross air of confidence that I can get behind. I did dig his work in Final Destination.

Yet, what it all boils down to is that nobody will be better than Christian Bale. This reeks of a terrible idea. What are your thoughts? Pictured: Miles Fisher, left, and Scott Disick
