TV: [Next On] ‘American Horror Story’ 01.11 Preview; Actual House For Sale!

American Horror Story>

As I stated last week, FX’s “American Horror Story” has catapulted into the near top of my list for the best horror in 2011. Ten episodes are now in the can, and the series by “Glee” creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk is building to something mammoth.

With only one episodes left until the hour and a half season finale, FX has previewed episode 01.11, “Birth” in a new clip that answers the question: what happens when a spirit tries to leave the house? The episode begins when Vivien (Connie Britton) gives birth, while Tate (Evan Peters) and Violet (Taissa Farmiga) attempt to rid the house of some of its ghosts for good. The next episode will air Wednesday, December 14 only on FX.

In other brief news, the setting for numerous nightmarish events on the horror series is on the market for a cool $4.5 million by real estate agent Joe Babajian. (Let’s all chip in and buy it together!) The six-bedroom, five-bath abode covers 10,440 sq. feet and rests on a lot that is nearly 30,000 sq. ft. Located at 1120 Westchester Place in Los Angeles, the Alfred F. Rosenheim mansion is described as an “irreplaceable masterpiece comprised of a 3-story main house plus a grand ballroom currently used as a recording studio.” They add, “This residence evokes the quality and grandeur of a bygone era.

Those of you worried, filming won’t be affected as Connie Britton, who plays Vivien, revealed in an interview earlier this year that while the pilot was filmed was on location, the following episodes were shot on an exact replica. THR reports.

‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Prequel ‘Furiosa’ Rated “R” for “Strong Violence” and “Grisly Images”

Anya Taylor-Joy fights the world in George Miller’s hotly anticipated Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, the upcoming prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road that’s coming next month.

Warner Bros.’ Furiosa has been rated “R” this week for…

“Sequences of strong violence, and grisly images.”

Furiosa will release in theaters on May 24, 2024. The film will tell the origin story of the character Charlize Theron made famous in Fury Road, also directed by George Miller.

“As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland they come across the Citadel presided over by the Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.”

Chris Hemsworth co-stars as Warlord Dementus.

Whereas Fury Road essentially happened over three days and two nights, this happens over many years,” Miller had teased during a press conference last year.

Miller is co-writing and directing the movie for Warner Bros.

Back in 2015, Mad Max: Fury Road grossed nearly $400 million worldwide at the box office and won SIX Oscars, while also scoring rave reviews nearly across the entire board.

Last we heard, Miller also intends on making sequels centered on Tom Hardy‘s Mad Max.
