Reminding me a bit of the classic “Tales From the Crypt” episode, above you’ll find the first image for Derek Franson’s indie Comforting Skin, which tells the tale of a looney chick with a tattoo. The film has been announced at part of January’s Slamdance film Festival, which takes place alongside the Sundance Fest in Park City, Utah.
“A lonely young woman’s desperate need for emotional and sexual companionship draws her into a surreal and ultimately destructive relationship with a shifting and whispering tattoo she has willed to life on her skin.”
Check out the film’s official website for a slew of imagery. The official one sheet and trailer are both posted inside.
