An Electric Storm Reigns Over ‘The Darkest Hour’ Clip

The Darkest Hour

With a Christmas Day release date looming, Summit Entertainment’s The Darkest Hour (set report part 1, part 2), is doing everything it can to kick things into awareness overdrive.

The first two clips weren’t anything special, thankfully the new one is a bit more electric. Watch as a news reporter catches an electric storm over Russia.

Directed by Chris Gorak, and starring Olivia Thirlby, Emile Hirsch, Rachael Taylor, Joel Kinnaman and Max Minghella, the 28 Days-like thriller follows five young people who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack.
