The Valentine’s Day edition of Horror In Your House is here which means a Human Centipede movie is on shelves. That could be the start of an interesting tradition courtesy of Tom Six. The Dead, a zombie flick shot in unique locations across Africa is out as well. And for those looking for a little love, Nude Nuns With Big Guns is sure to make your heart race. Enjoy! I think I am going to watch My Bloody Valentine (original) for my horror viewing today. Horror In Your House

THE DEAD (DVD/Blu-ray) – Anchor Bay
After crashing off the coast, Lt. Brian Murphy battles for survival across the vast terrains of Africa in search for a way to get back to his beloved family. Joined by local military man Daniel Dembele, who is also searching for his son, both men join forces, all the while battling against the ever-present threat of the living dead!
MICAH SAYS: Pretty cool zombie flick that is definitely worth a watch. The change of scenery (open desert) does some nice things for the genre. Of course, not a lot of zombies can sneak up on you in the Sahara, which limits the “scariness” of the walking dead. That said, the film relies more on the interaction with the two soldiers than zombies raging all over the place. PICK OF THE WEEK.
HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2: FULL SEQUENCE (DVD/Blu-ray) – MPI Home Video
A 12-person centipede. The only information IFC Films and the producers are revealing is that this time there is a new villain on the scene named Martin, and that the premise is 100% medically inaccurate!
MICAH SAYS: One of my bottom 5 horror films from last year. It adds nothing to the genre and seems to be solely made to stir up controversy (today’s release date is another good example of that). An awful film.
THE MORTICIAN – Lions Gate
A mortician’s (Method Man) life is suddenly changed when a dead woman’s body comes into his morgue jolting old memories from his past. As days go by he discovers a young boy hiding out in his morgue. When confronted the mortician learns that the boy is there to see his dead mother one last time while hiding from his father, who wants him dead. This triggers something inside the mortician and he is determined to help the boy escape from danger and is prepared to kill anyone who stands in the way.
NUDE NUNS WITH BIG GUNS (DVD/Blu-ray) – Image Entertainment
After deciding to take her vows at a convent, Sister Sarah becomes enslaved and victimized by the drug-pushing predators within the church walls and, on the verge of death, receives a divine message – to seek revenge! Packing heat and shedding her habit, this sister of no mercy embarks on a relentless rampage against these unholy men of the cloth and their partners in crime, a vicious biker gang known as Los Muertos. Packed with sex, violence, and wall-to-wall mayhem, this outrageous modern cult favorite in the tradition of the greatest drive-in action classics proves that hell hath no fury like a nude nun scorned.
MICAH SAYS: I think I speak for humankind in saying that there is never too many Nunsploitation flicks. This one is decent and has a few good moments. It also created some mainstream news when the filmmakers decided to try and sue EVERYONE who illegally downloaded the flick last year.
