Lionsgate has tapped Luke Dawson, who penned the 2008 remake Shutter, to write Subject 17, a new found footage flick to be produced by Mosiac Media Group, Bloody Disgusting exclusively learned..
The low budget horror flick will be found footage and can best be described as Flatliners meets Frankenstein. We’re told that the horror flick is about a group of medical researchers who attempt to reawaken the dead, only to find that they’ve created another monster entirely.
Frankenstein is hot right now, although I’m not sure where this fits in with Lionsgate since they’re distributing the in-production I, Frankenstein.
