This comes in from All Axess and they report that workers, while renovating Pink Floyd frontman David Gilmour’s house, were forced to evacuate the singer and everyone on site when they discovered what appeared to be a bomb. Gilmour’s wife Polly Samson tweeted about the event as it was occurring, including the arrival of a Royal Navy bomb disposal team. The team discovered that the metallic object was in fact a World War II-era German incendiary bomb that was missing the ignitor, rendering it harmless. They removed the bomb and the site was declared safe.
