Tina Majorino (pictured below) has landed a role she can really sink her teeth into, says TVLine.
The Napoleon Dynamite star, “Veronica Mars” alumna and current “Bones” co-star has booked a recurring gig on “True Blood”‘s upcoming fifth season. She’ll play a key member of the Vampire Authority’s support staff who first appears in Episode 3, which is scheduled to air June 24.
“True Blood” returns to HBO Sunday, June 10 at 9 PM ET/PT. The show’s fifth season will contain 12 episodes and will be the last season of the program overseen by show runner Alan Ball.
“Mixing romance, suspense, mystery, and humor, the Emmy-nominated show takes place at a time when vampires have come out of the coffin and follows the on-and-off romance between waitress and part-faerie Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), who can hear people’s thoughts, and 173-year-old vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer).”
